Elaine Meijerink

Elaine Meijerink is a final-year dance student at Codarts Rotterdam. She is a participant in Scapino's Young Talent Program. 

As a Scapino Young Talent this year, she set a goal, to be a stable and reliable dancer, someone the team can count on.

She describes herself as a curious and driven dancer, and she loves to explore spaces outside her comfort zone. Furthermore, she places great value on collaboration and taking risks, and she is always looking for ways to add more depth to the choreography or specific role that she is interpreting. 

In recent years, she has gained firsthand experiences, she has seen how great the privilege is to dance at this level. She hopes to continue having the opportunity to do what she loves, with the same passion and sense of wonder that keeps inspiring her repeatedly.
