Tell me now, how do I feel
Choreography: Filip Wagrodzki
Dance: Lorenzo Cimarelli, Sana Sasaki
The piece takes its inspiration from the fundamental building block of society—the family. It delves into the intricate psychological dynamics of growing up in the 90s, in a country freshly liberated from foreign rule. In a society where everything is deemed acceptable as long as private affairs remain private and individuals adhere to societal norms. How does this culture impact our well-being? What ripple effects does it have on those around us, and can we truly control our own self-determination?
A dry towel, please
Choreography and dance
Fanny De Ponti, Olivia Escribano Mendieta, Thomas Tardieu
In a world where things are taken for granted, the most necessary tool for survival is disappearing. Water.
Where can I get more?
I am thirsty.
Do you have some?
If my sweat could make the difference, would I run every day?
Are you willing to do that?
A silent candle in the dark
Choreography and dance
Mandela Giudice
Solitude, Emptiness, and Boredom.
Three close friends, who were there in the moment of need. In my world, dark and foggy. I notice the shaky but stubborn light of a candle in the corner, I think: Wow that’s Hope.
I realize not everything was lost.
The Candle approached me, the flame was alive.
Any wind that blew on it could never bend that firm and glowy but burning Hope.
All is dark,
again...,
with no other sense
Apathy now lies with me in my bed.
The Candle was still there, in the corner.
Her shaky fire was hypnotizing,
Inside I got things to deal with me, myself, and I.
She spoke.
I did not listen.
She spoke again.
There, I listen.
Finally, her choking voice made me stronger,
Alive.
