Scapino launches brand new DANS-energizers

On a schoolyard full of enthusiastic pupils, we launched the new DANS-energizers at the end of September. With this, we are going back to where it started.

The schoolyard of the Amsterdam Dong School was the place where a group of dancers led by Hans Snoek gave their first performance for children in June 1945. From this, a few months later, Scapino Ballet was born. With the launch on this schoolyard and the series of performances in Carré (the first theatre where we performed), we completed the circle.

Our DANS-energisers are short films with dance instruction by a Scapino dancer for primary school pupils to dance in class. Free to order for primary schools and BSOs via scapinoballet.nl/energizers.
