Eric Gauthier
Eric Gauthier was born in Montreal, Canada. After his dance training at the National Ballet School in Toronto, he left for Germany in 1996 to join the Stuttgart Ballet.
Gauthier danced in pieces by Spuck, O'Day, Dumais, Donlon and Galili, among others. In 2005 Gauthier made his debut as a choreographer during the Young Choreographers program of the Noverre Society in Stuttgart
In 2006 he won the jury and audience award at the Hanover Choreographen Competition with the piece BALLET 101. Since 2007 Gauthier has been the director and choreographer of Gauthier Dance, the dance company of Theaterhaus Stuttgart. In addition to his dance activities, Gauthier is also a musician.
